Amit Parashar is an experienced executive leader with over 20 years of experience in managing research and development portfolios across public sector, research institutes, universities, and private sector organizations. Currently leading the development of medical AI technologies, he formerly served as Deputy Director Australian National University's Institute for Space helping grow and position the institute. Amit is experienced at building and growing startup and facilitating partnerships.  He has led the development of new businesses in India with CSIRO, positioning CSIRO to be a trusted advisor to the international governments at country manager level.  In addition, he has led 100+ million IT transformation portfolios to deliver business change and digital transformation. A graduate of the University of Tasmania (BSc) and holding an Asia Pacific Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore, Amit has successfully delivered high-impact projects across Australia, India, Singapore, and USA.
